A Day To Remember premier a brand new track - 'Naivety' - on BBC Radio 1 with Annie Mac. 'Naivety' is the latest track to be revealed from the highly anticipated upcoming album, BAD VIBRATIONS (out September 2nd on ADTR Records distributed by Epitaph Records)
Now set for a September 2nd release on the band’s own ADTR Records and distributed by Epitaph, BAD VIBRATIONS was produced by Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag) and Jason Livermore (Rise Against, NOFX) and mixed by Grammy winner Andy Wallace (Foo Fighters, Slayer)The album is the band’s first since 2013’s Common Courtesy.
Recorded at Stevenson’s Fort Collins-based Blasting Room Studios, BAD VIBRATIONS masterfully channels the kinetic energy that found A Day To Remember being named “the best live band of 2015” by Alternative Press.
The album sees the group (vocalist Jeremy McKinnon, guitarists Kevin Skaff and Neil Westfall, bassist Joshua Woodard and drummer Alex Shelnutt) forgoing trendy digitally driven production to focus on live recording. “These days it seems like a lot of heavy sounding music is heading more and more in a digital direction,” says McKinnon. “That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but we wanted to go the opposite way and make something that’s aggressive but has more of a natural flow and feel to it.”
The quintet, who recently headlined both the 2016 Kerrang! Awards and Alternative Press Music Awards, are currently on the road in the US with Blink-182 for a summer tour of arenas and sheds that kicked off in San Diego, CA.
In January and February 2017 they’ll head to Europe and for a string of headline shows. Please see below for the full UK list of dates, and the pre-sale/on sale details.
